Celebrating 125 Years of Ocean Beach, California
For the 125th anniversary of "O.B" the San Diego Community Newspaper Group teamed up with Ocean Beach Merchant Association and the Ocean Beach Historical Society to create a special edition of the Peninsula Beacon showcasing the history of the small seaside town.
Using archival photos and historical accounts, we highlighted the history and changes the town went through, incluing a timeline of important events and milestones. We also created a number of advertisements for local businesses congratulating Ocean Beach on it's 125th birthday.
